Earlier this month, two of our very own Batdorf & Bronson® Baristas proudly won second & third place at the Northwest Brewers Cup Competition. The Brewers Cup is an event presented by the Specialty Coffee Association of America and the United States Barista Championship.
This event is meant to recognize and celebrate the art of manual coffee brewing. Contestants are judged in two rounds of manual brewing. First, there is a tasting round in which all competitors brew the same mystery coffee for 3 judges who will score based on taste alone. Those who advance to the final round will be challenged to brew and present their own coffee. Join this years regional 2nd & 3rd place winners, Ben Jones and Andrew Tucker-MacLeod, as they demonstrate their winning presentations and give us a competitors perspective from start to finish.
